Three Saturdays. Three open-air stages. A music series Malaysia hadn't seen before.
An independent KL promoter pitched us a three-Saturday open-air series featuring six regional acts across two stages. The vision was clear: production quality on par with international festivals, ticket prices that didn't alienate local fans, and a brand strong enough to come back yearly.
The challenge was the calendar. Three back-to-back weekends meant three full load-ins, three weather contingencies, and three artist riders we had to honour without exception.
We designed a modular stage system that could be partially struck and re-built on a 36-hour turnaround, paired with a line-array sound system rated for 6,000 pax and a lighting rig with 80 moving heads. The same crew worked all three weekends; the same calibration meant artists trusted us by night two.
We managed every artist rider personally, from green-room hospitality to monitor mixes. By weekend three, two artists had asked their managers to bring us into their next regional tour. That's the result that matters most.
Best production team I've worked with in Southeast Asia. They cared about the sound on stage as much as we did. We'll work with them again.
